Unisonic 739SQ
Brief History
An interesting member of Unisonic's family of pocket calculators with distinctive styling cues was the 739SQ, the first model with extended functions (square, square root and reciprocal). These capabilities are also indicated by the suffix "SQ" of the type designation. Although it looks exactly like others; inside, on the other hand, we find Japanese Gico's first-generation keyboard, even with a special foil circuit, which has made the keyboard more comfortable to use and more reliable, despite its low price. The integrated circuit was manufactured by Rockwell International, and the display was specifically developed by Japan's Futaba company for calculators with memory register - the last digit shows a small circle in case of overflow, and an M sign for memory usage.
