Sharp EL-531H
Brief History
After the very popular EL-531, and its almost identical successor, EL-531S (EL-530S and EL-531 in the US, respecively), Sharp decided to create the new EL-531 variation for use with button cells instead of penlight (AA) batteries. The EL-531A introduced in 1986 has some new features such as fixed point notation, or converting angles between degrees, radians or grads.
The EL-531H was in production from 1988, but except the design, it was identical to the EL-531A.
