Mathix 2002TON
Brief History
The german catalog store — as the competitors did — offered a whole family of calculators of its own Mathix brand, which are produced mostly in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but they used japanese circuits. The very stylish Mathix 2002TON has a unique feature: it beeps when a key was pressed. This feature was very common in small, credit card sized thin calculators, because pressing the miniature keys can’t be recognized by fingers anymore. This calculator has a NEC D1831G IC, which provides fixed point display and adding machine mode too.
