Sanyo CX-8032
Brief History
CX-8032 is one of Sanyo’s silver colored plastic housing calculators from the 1970s. Its internals are very common in these days, the NEC uPD940 chip used in this machine is very popular not only in Sanyo calculators. Structure of keyboard is a bit complicated and has a lot of springs: the smaller one make the electric contact, the outer one holds the key, and the small springs between the keys make contacts between the foil circuit and the PCB.
