Btech fx-82LB
Brief History
The Hungarian company Btech has been selling databanks (PDAs), calculators and electronic translators on the domestic market since 1993. The fx-82LB has been manufactured since 2003, which looks like a duplicate of Casio's model with the same model number, and its operation is the same as the big competitor, the Sharp’s EL-506P. Due to the peculiarities of the Hungarian market at that time, the simplest structured, cheapest types could only be imported. This can be clearly seen in this type as well: the back support of the thin foil circuit of the keyboard is provided by ordinary cardboard. Unfortunately, the extremely poor quality of the plastic cover does not favor the use of the machine for many years, so very few working copies of this model remain today. In recent years, meeting the quality needs of Far Eastern manufacturers has become an important aspect, so the quality of the products manufactured has also improved significantly. Current types are already competing with “original” types, both in appearance and usability.
