Privileg LC 1020SR
Brief History
With the spread of liquid crystal displays, the calculators offered by catalog stores was also dominated by these types with metal fronts and stylish thin design as these were typical of the era. Most of these manufactured by emerging companies in Hong Kong and Taiwan, which also made the same models for several European and US catalog stores as OEM products. Privileg’s entry-level scientific calculator, the LC 1020SR, was also available as Mondimat LC 303 in French, or Radio Shack EC-476 in the U.S., among others. The good quality product’s circuit and display were identical to one of the scientific calculator SLC-8280 developed these days by Toshiba.
