Brother 408AD
Brief History
Brother Industries has been manufacturing calculators since 1966, the first portable version appeared in 1972, and their first pocket-sized model appeared one year later. In addition to self-made models, many calculators made in Korea or Hong Kong were marketed under the Brother brand in the early 1970s. In the line of self-made models, the D series following the Z series was striking with its smaller dimensions, weight, more curved shapes, and the dominance of the aluminum front of the keyboard.
