Bowmar has replaced the CPU in type 901D with a new Texas Instruments-made IC with percentage calculating feature in 1974. The PCB and display in the 901D and the new MX80
are identical, but the display-restoring button has been replaced by percentage-calculating key. The MX80 has been assembled in Hungary, too: Híradástechnika
Cooperative produced the K-106/P model at Balatonlelle (Boglárlelle) factory in 1974.
