Híradástechnika PTK-1030

Brief History
After the success of the previous programmable calculators, Híradástechnika bought new types of Texas Instruments' machines introduced in 1977: the PTK-1096 (TI-59) as the most powerful programmable calculator assembled from 1979, the smallest entry-level PTK-1030 (TI-51-III, which was identical to TI-55 in USA), and the common model PTK-1050 are introduced in 1980. Except of the PTK-1030 which was produced only in 1980 and in small quantities, the PTK-1096 was still in production until 1985, the PTK-1050 was replaced by modern LCD variations in 1983.

The PTK-1030 was a very powerful scientific calculator, but not a useful programmable model: it has only 32, or depending on number of used memories, 24 or 16 steps. This calculator was soon replaced by the PTK-1050, the hungarian version of the TI-57.
