Híradástechnika TK-1023

Brief History
The first two scientific calculator (TK-835 in 1974 and TK-891 a year later) strengthened Híradástechnika's decision to assemble more calculators like those. The agreement between two hungarian calculator-manufacturer, EMG and Híradástechnika is about sharing the market and the produced types of calculators: EMG makes desktop calculators, HT makes scientific pocket-sized models, was signed in the end of 1975, so HT started to assemble National Semiconductor's two scientific models, the NOVUS 4520 Scientist as HT TK-1023 (due to constraints of valid shipping agreements, TK-891-1 type is used for a while) from 1976, and NOVUS 4525 Scientist PR programmable version as PTK-1023 from 1977. Later a more complex and professional model was adopted, that was the TK-1024, as described on its own page.
